The Bonner Leader Program is a community engagement and leadership program that fosters real-world community connections through partnerships with nonprofits in the Lynchburg area. Bonner students engage in a continuous internship and leadership training. Bonners receive financial assistance through work-study funds, additional scholarships and academic credit. Throughout the program, Bonner Leaders focus on the following seven common commitments: social justice, diversity, international perspective, civic engagement, spiritual exploration, community building, and wellness.
